ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons to Release Solo Work

ZZ Tops Billy Gibbons is the heart and soul of the band, the man with the guitar licks and hooks that make ZZ Top one of the greatest bands in our lifetime. Now, Bill is about to release a solo project, a new LP called ‘The Big Bad Blues’ is expected to drop late September and is dedicated to Blues and the songs that made the genre famous.

‘The Big Bad Blues’ will contain 11 tracks, Matt Sorum from Guns N’ Roses, James Harman, Greg Morrow, Mike Flanigin, and Joe Hardy. The LP contains about ½ covers and ½ originals, with tunes from Blues legends Bo Diddley and Muddy Waters. The album’s “Rollin’ and Tumblin” is the first single, released a few days ago.
