Your Daytime Emmy Award Winners

This year’s Daytime Emmy Award winners have been announced and there sure was a little bit of awkwardness around them. With all of the issues surrounding Kelly Ripa, Michael Strahan, and Live with Kelly and Michael, it’s no surprise that they win an award, but neither of them show up to make a speech.

The two of them won the Best Entertainment Talk Show Host, which is certainly no surprise. They’ve done an amazing job over the years making it one of the best in the business consistently.

There were plenty of awards given out at this award show, but let’s focus on a few of the bigger ones…

Outstanding Drama Series – General Hospital
Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series – Tyler Christopher, General Hospital
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series – Mary Beth Evans, Days of Our Lives
Outstanding Entertainment News Program – Extra
Outstanding Game Show – The Price is Right
Outstanding Game Show Host – Craig Ferguson, Celebrity Name Game
Outstanding Morning Program – CBS Sunday Morning
