Alessia Cara’s Night at the Radio Disney Music Awards

The Radio Disney Music Awards happened Sunday night and all of the biggest stars were in attendance. Celebrities like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony, Gwen Stefani, Ariana Grande and many others were up for awards at this year’s award show.

One R&B star who has really broken through over the past 12 months is Alessia Cara. Here song “Here” has peaked at number one on the R&B charts while her latest single, “Wild Things,” has the potential to do big things as well. If you haven’t heard it before then we suggest stopping everything and doing so now!

Alessia was nominated for one award at the Radio Disney Music Awards, but unfortunately didn’t come home with any hardware. She was up for The Buzz – Breakthrough Artist and had to face stiff competition. Charlie Puth, Rachel Platten, and Tori Kelly all were up for this award with Tori Kelly being victorious.

The Radio Disney Music Awards were a great shot at Alessia winning an award, but we have a feeling she has plenty of talent and time to fill up her trophy case.
