Steve Miller, Deep Purple, Chicago, N.W.A and Cheap Trick got the call, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year. We suppose the highlight of the whole thing was Steve Miller throwing shade on the induction committee. He’s right you know. There are deserving bands that have been snubbed however, and here’s a look at deserving rockers who are not in the Hall.

The sad fact that The Doobie Brothers are not yet in the Hall is ridiculous. In the 1970s the industry was struggling to find success outside the disco era, and the Brothers paved the path for folk, California, and pop rock when others failed. The Doobie Brothers are in the Vocal Group Hall of Fame as of 2004, but must be in the Hall to fully recognize their contributions to rock and roll.

The Guess Who from Canada is very deserving as they contributed so many songs, so many memories from the late 60s to 80s. We would not have BTO, Loverboy, Celine Dion or Justin Bieber without the Guess Who.
