Our dear friend to the north also has its Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame; that 2017 class has just been announced…

Neil Young, Beau Dommage, Bruce Cockburn, and Stéphane Venne are this year’s inductees. Bruce Cockburn has recorded and toured for nearly 50 years, releasing 25 albums, hitting the US charts with “Wondering Where the Lions Are” in 1980. Neil Young needs no introduction, having been a founding father of 60s rock and the anti-establishment generation as part of ‘CSNY’ and Crazy Horse.

Beau Dommage is a rock band from Quebec with a heavy French influence, recording and touring since the early 70s.
