2017 has been great to the movie business with multiple flicks out that crushed it at the box office. Most recently, Wonder Woman had a huge debut at the box office bringing in just over $100 million at theaters. This number is so huge that in just one weekend it ranks 12th so far this year in terms of highest grossing films. So, which movies are the top movies of the year?
The biggest movie in 2017 has no doubt been Beauty and the Beast. This flick has brought in over half a billion dollars in the United States, giving it an almost $150 million lead on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Rounding out the top three is Logan, which brought in $226 million at the box office.
The Fate of the Furious has had a great year, the first movie in the series that doesn’t involve Paul Walker. It brought it $223 million at the box office, barely being edged out by Logan for the third position. Let’s take a look at the top 10…
