Talking Starting Quarterbacks in College Football – Again!

We’ve been talking about college football all week, so why stop now? We’re excite that the season is almost upon us! The first official game occurs when Hawaii and California square off in Australia on Saturday, so we’re not too far away at all. Let’s talk about more quarterbacks who have been named the starter this week…

Virginia has itself a new head coach and now a new starting quarterback with the announcement that Kurt Benkert was going to be the guy for the Cavaliers this season. He is an ECU transfer that had to sit out last year because of the transfer and also because of injury.

Stanford has named Ryan Burns their quarterback. Even though Keller Chryst was the favorite heading into camp, it never materialized as him being the guy. Rumor has it that he’ll be seeing snaps week one though as well.

Penn State fans are excited about the future of their offense and part of that is because of Trace McSorley. He has been named the quarterback and while it just happened, many expected him to be the guy once Christian Hackenburg declared for the NFL Draft.
