Rock’s Best Represented at the Billboard Music Awards

Sunday night all of the stars were out and in attendance at the Billboard Music Awards and plenty of rock stars were recognized for their greatness. The night was filled with great performances and there was even a special tribute done by Madonna. Let’s take a look at the winners of the three rock specific awards at the BBMAs…

The Top Rock Song award was given to Walk the Moon for their hit single, “Shut Up and Dance.” Twenty One Pilots was up for the award, but fell short like the singles from Fall Out Boy, Elle King, and X Ambassadors.

The Top Rock Artist award was won by Twenty One Pilots. They faced stiff competition, beating out Elle King, Walk the Moon, X Ambassadors, and Fall Out Boy.

The Top Rock Album award went to Twenty One Pilots for their album, “Blurryface.” This album beat out recent releases from Coldplay, David Bowie, Alabama Shakes, and Mumford & Sons.
