R&B Stars Represented at the Billboard Music Awards

Sunday night all of the stars were out and in attendance at the Billboard Music Awards and plenty of R&B stars were recognized for their greatness. The night was filled with great performances and there was even a special tribute done by Madonna. Let’s take a look at the winners of the three R&B specific awards at the BBMAs…

The Top R&B Song award was given out to The Weeknd. He had three songs up for this award, but it was his song, “The Hills,” that won the hardware. Songs from Omarion and Alessia Cara were also up for the award.

The Top R&B Artist award was also won by The Weeknd. He had a huge night and this was part of it. He beat out Bryson Tiller, Rihanna, Jeremih, and Chris Brown for this award.

As you might have guessed, the Top R&B Album award was won by The Weeknd. His album, “Beauty Behind the Madness,” was a monster album, beating out the recent releases from Chris Brown, Rihanna, Tyrese, and Bryson Tiller.
