Rihanna’s Debut Album Celebrates 11 Years

Rihanna has been in the news nonstop in 2016 and with good reason. She’s been blowing it up with great music and great performances that we just can’t stop loving. If you look back at how it all started then you will see that it began in 2005 when she released her debut album, “Music of the Sun.”

Rihanna is a much different artist these days, but her music is still great. The album had 13 tracks on it with two great songs on it specifically. “Pon de Replay” and “If It’s Lovin’ that You Want” put Rihanna on the map.

The album would debut at number 10 on the Billboard 200 and would sell over half a million units. Where would we be if this album never came out? We’re not sure, but we don’t want to know.
