Music Stars Band Together to Help Mexico

The scenes of little children trapped under collapsed schools in Mexico this week are heartbreaking. The death toll and cost to residents and businesses will be staggering once the dust settles, and our favorite stars are doing their part to help.

Beyoncé, Fifth Harmony, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tidsale, Rita Ora, Quincy Jones, Sam Smith, Fergie, and the Chainsmokers have all turned to their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social extensions to ask for prayers, donations and support for the earthquake victims.

Mexican born actress Salma Hayek has raised nearly $250,000 in her Crowdrise account, while local Oaxacan artists are have joined forces to raise money now, and have scheduled “Oaxaca Corazon” a benefit concert this Sunday, held in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
