Elvin Bishop (Fooled Around and Fell in Love) has good news to share. He’s going to be inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in Memphis in May. Who are a few others that you’ll recognize now in the Blues Hall of Fame? Check out this list…

B.B King of course is in the Hall, while Muddy Waters, Ray Charles and Albert King are enshrined as well. Did you know that there are members of the Blues Hall of Fame that had pop success as well?

Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland, Chuck Berry, Elvis manager Sam Phillips, rocker Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rufus Thomas, Fats Domino, Ike Turner, Bo Diddley, and Dr. John were no strangers to the Billboard pop charts, and are deservedly in the Blues Hall of Fame.

The members of the Blues Hall of Fame that surprised us a little include Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton and Little Richard.
