According to people close to Chris Cornell, the rock star has passed away at the age of 52. This is truly sad news for the former member of Soundgarden and Audioslave. The cause of death has yet to be announced, but they did say that the death was a surprise.
Soundgarden was a band from Seattle, starting their music making in 1984. Cornell would win a Grammy in 1995 with the band before it would disband in 1997. He would then work on a solo career before joining the band Audioslave from 2001-2007. It was in 2012 that Soundgarden came back to life for one more album release in 2012, “King Animal.”
This is terribly sad news and our thoughts are with his friends and family. Chris Cornell, dead at the age of 52.
