Carrie Underwood had been represented by Arista Nashville for over 10 years, but she has apparently decided to move on from them. She just recently signed a record deal that spans the entire globe with Universal Music Group.

How far this star has come, winning American Idol in 2005 and then putting out hit album after hit album throughout the years. If the albums she puts out with UMG are half as good as releases like “Blown Away,” “Storyteller” and “Play On” then we are in for a treat. Carrie is an unbelievable talent and we think that’s fairly obviously considering her seven Grammy wins to go along with many number one hits and other awards won in the past.

Others to be a part of this label include Lady Antebellum, George Strait, Chris Stapleton and Dierks Bentley among others.
