You may have not heard of author Jesse Fink, but if you’re an AC/DC fan, you know that this author has made it his life’s work to chronicle the band and it’s founding brothers, the Youngs. Jesse is putting the finishing touches on ‘Bon: The Last Highway: The Untold Story of Bon Scott and AC/DC’s Back in Black, due on shelves in late 2017.

Bon Scott was the founding member and the voice you hear on the early AC/DC hits, delivering great songs like “Highway to Hell,” and “Let There Be Rock,” until his untimely death in 1980. Here are three things you may not have known about Bon…

Bon was born in Scotland, but moved to Australia as a young boy. He spent time in juvenile detentions for being a small-time criminal. He tried to enlist in the military, but they rejected him for being ‘socially unacceptable.’ His official cause of death is listed as ‘alcohol intoxication.’
