At some point in your life, it’s likely that you have used the app Shazam. Its sole purpose is to help you distinguish what song you’re listening to and help you find out its details. Who is it performed by and what’s the title of it? This has really come in handy for those that love listening to the radio and want to stream that song on a streaming service like Apple Music or Spotify among others.

Just recently it was announced that Shazam was bought by Apple. Not surprisingly, this has been one acquisition that took some time to nail down. There is no word as to what Apple plans to do with Shazam but considering their success in technology and the greatness that is Shazam, we aren’t too worried about it. They’ll certainly figure out a great way to enhance both its platform and Apple’s.
