Dexter Fletcher (‘Eddie the Eagle’ and ‘Wild Bill’ movies) has been hired to replace Bryan Singer as the key player in the highly anticipated Queen biopic film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ Bryan was dismissed as the movie’s director a week ago. He’s issue; he didn’t get along with Rami Malek, the actor portraying Freddie Mercury. It looks like the film won’t be completed and ready for the masses until mid to late next year.

Queen was an iconic group that broke all the rules to make it to the top, only to see Freddie pass away November 24th, 1991 due to complications to AIDS. Did you know that Freddie was close to a girl in the 70s, Mary Austin, who inherited most of Freddie’s money, royalties and home? There’s an amazing large statue of Freddie in Montreux, Switzerland, dedicated in 1996, overlooking Lake Geneva.
