Kendrick Lamar Does Unthinkable, Wins Pulitzer

There aren’t many people out there that can say they won a Pulitzer Prize but there’s a new member of that club and it’s Kendrick Lamar. Wow! He’s the first rapper to win the award and first artist to not be of the classical or jazz genres to win the award. He does so because of his album, “DAMN.”

Musicians have been winning Pulitzers since 1943 and Lamar has really done the unthinkable with this win. Huge congratulations are in order for Kendrick Lamar, a Pulitzer Prize winner!
