The Write-In Votes From the Alabama Senate Race

The Alabama Senate race concluded just a few weeks back and the list of write-in votes have come out. They’re quite entertaining! From movie stars to tv stars to musicians many were voted for on the day of the senate election.

Among those that were voted in were Adam Levin from Maroon 5, Billy Joel, Ellen DeGeneres, Tyler Perry and even Charles Barkley, the former Auburn basketball player and NBA professional.

While the race was highly contested, there were votes of Kermit the Frog, Bruce Wayne and even Santa Claus. It’s pretty crazy but also pretty creative to vote for some of the ones they voted for.

Doug Jones, the Democrat, won against Roy Moore in December to win the Alabama Senate position.
