Well hello 2018! Let’s hope this year is filed with joy, lots of money, and plenty of love and understanding. As we think about what will be, we wanted to remind you of what was, 10 years ago, 2007. Here were the tops songs from just 10 years ago, 2007…

Irreplaceable – Beyoncé

Girlfriend – Avril Lavigne

Umbrella – Rihanna featuring Jay-Z

Makes Me Wonder – Maroon 5

Say It Right – Nelly Furtado

The Sweet Escape – Gwen Stefani featuring Akon

Big Girls Don’t Cry – Fergie

Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin’) – T-Pain featuring Yung Joc

Before He Cheats – Carrie Underwood

Glamorous – Fergie featuring Ludacris

Don’t Matter – Akon

Conclusions: Rihanna was named the ‘most streamed’ female artist of 2017, so we don’t have to worry about her future. Carrie, Maroon 5 and Beyoncé are at the top of their games, while Fergie and Josh are divorcing, Luda is now interested in acting, and Gwen is dating some country dude. Blake Shelton is his name? Say goodbye however to Avril, T-Pain, and Akon as their places at the top are no longer there, unfortunately.
