The Women of American Pie

In 1999, the movie “American Pie” was released, making enough money to convince producers and investors to make three more in the series. Just this past weekend the cast and crew reunited for a reunion of sorts, so let’s take a moment to update you on the ‘Women of American Pie.’

Alyson Hannigan played Michelle Flaherty, and her career exploded after the first American Pie, starring in ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Shannon Elizabeth stayed in film, starring in respectable movies like ‘Scary Movie’ ‘Love Actually,’ and her latest release this past summer called ‘Swing Away.’

Tara Reid starred in a few films such as ‘Van Wilder’ and the ‘Hungover Games’ but has continued her career primarily in television.

Natasha Lyonne played Jessica in American Pie and has starred in mostly film since the classic American Pie movie. Mena Suvari, Jennifer Coolidge, Molly Cheek are all still working in the business.
