The 2017 Brit Awards took place recently and there were many winners, but only one big winner. This big winner was none other than David Bowie. Unfortunately for us all, Bowie was not in attendance due to passing away last year. We’ll never forget this talented star and while we’re sad that he wasn’t able to see this year’s show, we’re happy people continue to recognize his greatness.
Bowie took home two awards including British Male Solo Artist and British Album of the Year. His album, “Blackstar,” was a huge hit for him and was the recipient of the British Album of the Year award.
Other winners at this year’s award show include The 1975 (British Group), British Female Solo Artist (Emeli Sande), Little Mix (British Single), One Direction (British Artist Video of the Year), Beyonce (International Female Solo Artist) and Drake (International Male Solo Artist).
