The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Alphabet continues today with a look at one of the most soulful bands ever – Earth Wind & Fire.

In Chicago in 1970, a band of singer and artists joined forces in an untraditional way, combining horns and electric guitars, guided by Maurice White. The band earned 20 Grammy nominations, winning six with the late Maurice White and Philip Bailey winning solo Grammys. The band has sold over 110 million records.

EW&F is in the Songwriters Hall, Vocal, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fames. They also have a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star! Here are a few of their upcoming 2017 dates/locations:

March 9th, St. Augustine, FL
March 15th Chattanooga, TN
March 17th, Wilmington, NC
March 21st, Knoxville, TN
March 24th, Columbia, SC
