Sam Hunt is apparently engaged as his representatives have told People. He’s officially off the market! This news comes out of nowhere for us as we didn’t even know he was in a serious relationship with someone.
Apparently the lucky girl is Hannah Lee Fowler, the one who inspired many songs on his debut album, “Montavello.” One song in particular that she inspired him on was “Drinkin’ Too Much,” which was released on New Year’s Eve. In the song he sings about people knowing her name and how he is sorry for that. He also threw in the lyric “…but I wish you’d let me pay off your student loans with these songs you gave me.”
We wish Sam and Hannah the very best on their engagement and look forward to seeing what comes of them in the next year!
