The MTV Europe Music Awards went down just the other night and of course the results are in! There were a few big winners and unfortunately a few big losers as well. Amazingly talented artists like Adele and Beyonce had multiple nominations, but came home with zero hardware. Many hip hop artists had a shot at a big night…
One award was specifically geared towards hip hop and the winner of it was Drake. Drake took home the Best Hip Hop award, beating out Future, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa and G-Eazy.
The Weeknd took home the Best Video award, but lost out on the Best Male award. Rihanna was up for Best Pop, but fell short thanks to Fifth Harmony, while Beyonce was up for Best Live and Best Female, but lost out on both.
