We’re halfway through the work week, so you know what that means! It’s hump day! Let’s talk about some of the minor story lines going on these days in music that are certainly worth talking about, but may not be the biggest of news you’ll hear this week…
Calvin Harris will be releasing new music this week. Fans of Harris will be able to hear his latest single, “My Way,” on Friday when it will be available for us all. We have yet to hear the song (obviously), but are sure it’ll be a jam.
This week we see “Needed Me” from Rihanna reach number one on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop songs chart brought to us by Billboard. With this song become a chart topper, it is Rihanna’s sixth to do so.
Speaking of Rihanna, did you know that her and Selena Gomez have three top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this year? They are the only two female musicians to do so in 2016. We know we’re not surprised.
