The Weeknd had a year to remember in 2015, putting out hit after hit after hit. This has resulted in him earned him $55 million in a 12-month time period that is simply quite amazing. Let’s talk about how he made all of this money…
Abel Tesfaye, The Weeknd, made $55 million last year in part because of his number five album of the year, “Beauty Behind the Madness.” This album had hit after hit. Songs like “Earned It,” “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face” were on the album and the last of the three being named by some as the song of the summer. He would go on to win eight Billboard Music Awards and take home eight Grammys.
The Weeknd also sold out an amazing world tour and had endorsements to go along with it. While $55 million is a huge number, we’re certainly not surprised by it after taking a deep look back at his past year.
