Benjamin Evans Rector was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1986 to a quiet middle class family, but the excitement was about to happen. Ben began his musical journey in high school, playing in various garage bands. In his freshman year at the University of Arkansas, Ben won the John Lennon Songwriting competition in 2006 for a collection of original songs. Ben and his quiet family were never the same. Ben lives in Nashville and has sold over two million single downloads in his young career.
