Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the best actors of our time and in part its because of his ability to play many different roles. He has played some amazingly difficult and controversial roles like his role in Django where he was a slave over. He was applauded for that effort and rightfully so. Leonardo was great in it.
Now, there are rumors that Leonardo might be playing Rumi, a Persian poet. Considering he is white, this kind of role is causing plenty of noise and commotion on social media. Many are wondering how he could play such a role with his ethnic background.
There has been no confirmation as to if he’ll be playing this role, but if he does it’ll be another controversial role that he has a shot at proving his talent with.
