The MTV Europe Music Awards went down just the other night and of course the results are in! There were a few big winners and unfortunately a few big losers as well. Amazingly talented artists like Adele and Beyonce had multiple nominations, but came home with zero hardware. Here are the artists who had big days at this award show…
Justin Bieber had himself a nice night taking home the Best Song and Biggest Fans award. The Weekend had two nominations, but only won Best Video for his song with Daft Punk “Starboy.” Martin Garrix won two awards at the show taking home the Best World Stage and Best Electronic awards.
On the rock side of things, Coldplay took home the Best Rock award while Twenty One Pilots won themselves two pieces of hardware, “Best Alternative” and “Best Live.”
When it came to the Best Male and Best Female awards, there was a lot of competition. Shawn Mendes and Lady Gaga would win those awards though!
