We’re very close to Halloween, so let’s be sure we have only treats today. Here are your Monday morning music news headlines…

Princes’ remains will be interned in his Minneapolis mansion, and not in a family grave site or common location. The plan is to allow fans to tour the mansion and check out all of the late singer’s artifacts.

ZZ Top and Jeff Beck will release a live performance of ‘16 tons’ in collaboration later this month; the two groups have mutually admired each other for years.

Thew late Duane Allman’s ‘collaboration of hits’ has been released in vinyl this week, a collection of his best work. It’s a ‘must have’ for fans of southern rock.

Keith Richards, Stevie Nicks, and Neil Young will appear on the latest Sheryl Crow album, due out before the end of the year.

Gary Pickett, Ziggy Marley, Eminem, Chuck Berry (89) Doobie Brothers Patrick Simons, Weird Al Yankovic and Leslie West all celebrates birthdays this week.
