Hollywood brought in the buck bucks with great films this weekend, so let’s count down the top 10 highest grossing films this past week.
‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ with nearly 4,000 venues brought in nearly $11 million in total receipts for the number one spot this weekend, while ‘Maze Runner: the Death Cure’ came in second with just over $10 million is total ticket sales. Surprisingly, the Helen Mirren film ‘Winchester’ came in third, ‘The Greatest Showman’ fourth, and ‘Hostiles’ displayed in nearly 3,000 theaters rounded out the top five.
The remaining five spots in the top 10 were ‘The Post,’ ‘Den of Thieves,’ ‘The Shape of Water,’ ’12 Strong,’ and ‘Padmaavat.’
