In the middle of a romantic cruise, the ship takes on water and sinks. Fortunately, you’re a great swimmer, so you make it to a deserted island. With no hope of being rescued for a while, you dream your favorite music. Here’s our list of ‘Desert Island’ songs that will keep you alive till help arrives.

“Stairway to Heaven” has got to be on this list, if only for nostalgic reasons. The song will take you back to your first high school dance.

“Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey is the motivation song that will keep you strong until that low finish plane spots your S.O.S on the beach.
