Opening this week were the films ‘Fifty Shades Freed,’ ‘Peter Rabbit,’ battling the heavyweights ‘Star Wars,’ ‘Jumanji,’ ‘Winchester,’ and others. As the box office numbers were reported, it was clear that the world was eager for a steamy romance this past weekend. ‘Fifty Shades of Freed’ dominated the weekend box office with nearly $40 million in tickets sold, stirring the ‘Fifty’ franchise to nearly $1 billion dollars in international sales.
