The MLB All Star game is less than two weeks ago and just last night the rosters for this one were announced. Fan voting determined the starters continuing the tradition that our favorite players would make the team not necessarily the absolute best. This is an exhibition game that has no meaning now that home field advantage is no longer determined based off of the winner of this one, so we don’t mind that the very best aren’t necessarily included. Let’s take a look at the starters for these two teams…
National League: Ryan Zimmerman, Daniel Murphy, Zack Cozart, Nolan Arenado, Buster Posey, Bryce Harper, Charlie Blackmon and Marcell Ozuna.
American League: Justin Smoak, Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Jose Ramirez, Salvador Perez, Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, George Springer and Corey Dickerson.
