Andrew Dorff might not be a name you recognize in the world of country music, but we promise you know his work. He was made famous by his work with many of the biggest names in country including Blake Shelton and Kenny Chesney among many others.

Dorff passed away earlier this week at the young age of 40. This is truly a sad moment in time for all in country music, as his death was totally unexpected. The cause of death is not yet known.

Dorff has made a huge impact on the country music world and we see it with many of the brightest stars paying tribute to him. These stars include Shelton, Maren Morris and Hunter Hayes among others.

The hits Dorff had written in the past include “Neon Lights” from Shelton, “Ride” from Martina McBride, “Save It for a Rainy Day” from Chesney and “Somebody’s Heartbreak” from Hayes.

Rest in Peace Andrew Dorff. You will be missed.
