Let’s talk about a few of the biggest recent headlines from our favorite singers of last year and today…

There was no sadder news in 2016 than the death of rising star Christina Grimmie, murdered by a crazy fan in June of last year. Her label Republic Records is releasing the late singers first single called ‘Invisible.’ The proceeds from the sale of the single will go towards starting a memorial charity in Christina’s name.

Rihanna is a winner, anyone can see that. She did set a record she’d like to forget however recently at the Grammys; Rihanna had been nominated in eight different Grammy categories, not winning once that night. Sadly, that’s a new Grammy record.

Carly Rae Jepson and Lil Yachty have coved the tune “It Takes Two,” and the vibe is unreal. You may have seen the video, positioned as a Target ad.
