Wife of Gregg Popovich Passes Away

Gregg Popovich is one of the most entertaining coaches in the NBA and one of the best period. His Spurs teams have been dominant for many years even with their struggles against the Warriors in the first round this year. None of this is important right now though as news has come out that his wife has passed away due to an undisclosed illness. Erin Popovich passed away on Wednesday at the age of 67.

The entire NBA community has seemingly sent their thoughts his way in the past 24 hours. LeBron James talked about it after their win last night against the Pacers and Kevin Durant, an opponent in round one, even made a touching statement.

Gregg Popovich, our thoughts are with you and your family during these times.
