October will be an exciting month for new music, re-issues, and or releases of interest for the real music fan. Here’s what’s coming in October…

The Rolling Stones release their long-awaited media driven LP called, ‘On Air in the Sixties’ which will include Book and companion DVD.

David Crosby will release ‘Sky Trails,’ and David Gilmour gives us ‘Live at Pompeii.’

Gary Wright’s ‘Greatest Hits’ hits the stores in October, while The Electric Light Orchestra will re-release ‘Out of the Blue: 40th Anniversary’ Edition in vinyl, while the 60s powerhouse Monkees release ‘The Monkees; Headquarters Stack-O-Tracks: 50th Anniversary’ Edition’ on vinyl.

The Who release ‘Tommy: Live at the Royal Albert Hal’ and ‘Maximum As & Bs,’ a collection of every single, both the A and B side they ever released.

Michael McDonald releases ‘No Lookin’ Back a reissue, while Carly Simon provides ‘Coming Around Again: 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition’ this month. Finally, check out Philly’s Daryl Hall and John Oates frothier ‘Bigger Than Both of Us; Livetime’ reissues.
