What to Wear to that Holiday Party this Season?

Tis the season for Holiday Parties, and you want to stand out in all the right ways.  Here are the hot styles to help you be festive and fashionable this year….

-Keep it simple with an LBD (Little Black Dress). You can keep it even simpler with a pair of black heels, or use that opportunity to wear a pair of eye-catching sparkly or animal print pumps.

-Keep warm, be comfortable AND look chic with over the knee boots. Wear them over skinny jeans or jeggings topped with a mock turtleneck and you can go from day to night, no problem. A nice pair may be a bit of an investment, but they’re timeless and will last forever.

-Animal prints from leopard to zebra are in, in, in this holiday season. Throw on a faux animal print coat over a classic white or black blouse and blue jeans for a modern, stylish evening look.

-Sleek black slacks are easy breezy and oh, so comfortable, and look amazing with the shimmery silk and satin tops that are all the rage right now.

-You can dressed to be noticed by breaking out the red velvet, a hue and fabric just made for the holiday season.

-Sequins stun this holiday season. They’ll sparkle on an otherwise simple sheath dress or even on a jumpsuit for that “easy throw on and go” appeal.

-Give your holiday party ensemble a pop of color by making it (colonel) mustard in the drawing room, with a dirty martini.

-Ditch the usual tote and get one basic black party bag with gold or silver accents, just big enough to hold a phone, keys, ID, some cash and a compact for touchups. You’ll be good to go!

-Spice up a simple outfit by layering graceful jewelry, and go for the gold, dahlings. From a simple bangle around the wrist to thin hoops dangling from the ears to a delicately layered chain necklace, your accessories will sparkle, and YOU will shine.
