Watch Modest Mouse’s Performance on Fallon

On Tuesday, June 22, Modest Mouse appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to support their first new album in six years, The Golden Casket.

In an interview with Alternative Press, Isaac Brock admitted the new album is essentially the second volume their 2015 effort. “Yeah, it’s a two-part thing,” he said. “I was going to do ‘The Golden News,’ but I think I’m done with it.”

For their late-night moment, Isaac Brock and Co. rocked out with “We Are Between,” in what appeared to be an atrium with an assortment of houseplants, ornamental mushrooms and a pink elephant as props. The track is featured on The Golden Casket, Modest Mouse’s seventh album and the follow-up to 2015’s Strangers to Ourselves, which blasted to No. 1 on both of Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and Alternative Albums charts.
