This week it has been announced that Drake’s recent release, “Views,” holds the number one position on the Billboard 200 albums chart for a sixth week in a row! This is a huge feat and is something that hasn’t been done by a man in over 10 years. The last time this happened it was done by 50 Cent and his album, “The Massacre.”
“Views” was released on April 29 of this year and has been a huge hit since. “Hotline Bling” and “One Dance” are the two biggest hits off the album, but he has just released the song “Controlla” as his latest single off the album.
This is a huge feat for men in the industry, but a few women have dominated just as much or even more if you take a look at previous charts. Taylor Swift and Adele have both accomplished this feat multiple times. Taylor Swift has done at least this many weeks in a row with three albums and Adele with two albums.
