University of Minnesota Has Honored Prince

Prince left us two years ago, but he’s still being talked about and loved by us all. Just yesterday, the University of Minnesota honored Prince in a special way. He is being given an honorary degree from the school for everything he has done for music and those that enjoy it.

His sister, Tyka Nelson, accepted the award Wednesday night. Sadly, Prince was to receive it himself before he died of an overdose two years ago. It was a packed house for those in attendance and looked like a great time for those that got to be there.
