U2 was scheduled to play in Argentina the other night but decided they should delay their concert by a few hours for a very interesting reason. We love what they did for their fans on Tuesday night! Instead of playing their concert during the Argentina soccer match, they allowed fans to watch and then come to their concert almost two hours later. That is when the fun began!
Argentina faced off against Ecuador that night and with soccer being so huge in South America it only made sense to delay the concert if they could. The band also had the opportunity to make their fans feel better after a loss or join in on the giant party if they had won! What a win-win situation for the band and a very classy move.
Argentina would win the match 3-1 by the way!
