Tyler, the Creator took home his second Best Rap Album Grammy last night for his 2021 album Call Me If You Get Lost.

“Thanks wow yeah,” Tyler tweeted after the win, not physically present at the event to accept his award. “Thanks to everyone who listened, watched a video or came to a show.”

In 2020, Tyler took home the same award for his 2020 release IGOR.

“I’m half-and-half on it,” Tyler said at the time. “On one side I’m just grateful that what I made could be acknowledged in a world like this. But also it sucks that whenever we—and I mean guys that look like me—do anything that’s genre-bending or anything they always put it in a Rap or Urban category.”

Kanye West, in light of some recent drama, won Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Hurricane,” as well as Best Rap Song with Jay-Z for “Jail.” The rapper is now a 24-time Grammy winner.
More notable hip-hop and R&B wins of the evening include Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar’s “Family Ties” winning Best Rap Performance, H.E.R.’s “Fight for You” winning Best Traditional R&B Performance, Silk Sonic’s “Leave the Door Open” winning Best R&B Song, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and tied Best R&B Performance with Jazmine Sullivan’s “Pick Up Your Feelings,” and Jazmine Sullivan’s Heaux Tales for Best R&B Album.
