Country musician Travis Tritt sang the national anthem on Saturday at Game 6 of the National League Championship Series, just days after canceling a slew of shows meant to take place at venues requiring a COVID-19 vaccine or a mask to attend.

Tritt, an Atlanta native, dawned a Braves jersey at Truist Park, one of the sports stadiums that allows full capacity without any need for vaccine proof, negative tests, or mask-wearing.

While the two-time Grammy winner has stated that he’s “not against the vaccine,” he is “against forcing people to take medicine that they may not need or may not want.” Tritt has been one of the more notable musicians to voice such opinions, as have Eric Clapton and Van Morrison.
