One of America’s musical treasures, Tony Bennett turned 90 this year. Wow! To help celebrate Elton John, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, and a list of Hollywood ‘A’ stars taped a TV special at the Radio City Music Hall last week. The TV special is in conjunction with the release of Tony’s new album “Tony Bennett Celebrates 90,” due December 16.
The NBC special is called ‘Tony Bennett Celebrates 90: The Best Is Yet to Come,’ airing on your TV this December 20. Tony’s new LP includes the Billy Joel duet “New York State of Mind,” a cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Visions,” and Elton performing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” Lady Gaga, Kevin Spacey, Michael Buble, are all on the new LP.
Tony will be part of the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and NBC’s ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center,’ airing November 30 on NBC.
