Toni Tennille Divorces Daryl Dragon

In what can only be described as a ‘better late than never’ move, Toni Tennille has divorced her husband of nearly 45 years Daryl Dragon (remember, the Captain and Tennille) and released a memoir. Although it’s unusual for a pair to split after four decades of wedding bliss, Toni confesses Daryl had stopped being affectionate, something that reduced their relationship to brother and sister status.

Toni Tennille (“Love Will Keep Us Together,” 70s Captain and Tennille duo) has released her memoir “Toni Tennille: A Memoir” with some real Hollywood buzz. Toni is now 75, with some juicy stories to tell singing backup for early rock groups, her struggle with her ex-husband’s addictions, hosting her own TV show, and knowing all of the music and Hollywood movers and shakers for over 40 years. The memoir is written with her niece Caroline.
