Inferno is the latest movie in the Da Vinci Code Series, starring Tom Hanks and directed by Ron Howard. With two great names like that, you would think that it would put up big numbers at the box office. Unfortunately for all involved with the movie that wasn’t the case this past weekend. In fact, it brought in just $15 million and was second to the new Tyler Perry movie at the box office.
Boo! A Madea Halloween brought in just under $17 million in its debut, a solid number for the latest Tyler Perry movie. This was a surprise “win” for sure considering in its second week of being at the theaters.
Jack Reacher, the Tom Cruise movie, was also in its second weekend and finished third behind Inferno. It came up just short of $10 million at the box office.
