Just in time for Independence Day comes a new drink from the Starbucks “secret menu” to make you sparkle…. ladies and gentlemen, we give you, The Firecracker Drink.

This drink was created by the geniuses over at Totallythebomb.com. It’s a sweet and light drink that’s perfect for summer both in its flavor and the fact that it has a delightful pop of color that looks like a beautiful firework. As they note in their post, this drink is also great because it’s got caffeine without tasting like coffee at all.

As with all secret menu drinks, you should know by now that you should definitely not show up to your local Starbucks and ask for this one by name. Shhh, it’s a secret, see?  In fact, this is probably a good time to utilize mobile ordering so your barista has plenty of time to craft this one before you arrive. Either way you do it, be sure to ask nicely and explain thoroughly want you want, OK? OK! Now here’s how you order the drink.

According to their post, TotallyTheBomb recommends you start by ordering a Venti Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher with “no inclusions,” AKA the pieces of dragonfruit. Then ask for one pump of Raspberry Syrup, shake that up with some ice, and then followed by a little Passion Tea on top. If you mix it all together, it will still taste great, but Holly Walker, the author of the post, recommends this order to get that pretty effect. You can check out her post for more instructions. Happy sipping!
